Join fellow urban fiction book lovers for a lively discussion of the New York Times bestselling novels written by Sister Souljah.  Sister Souljah's novels deal with universal themes of faith, love and integrity.  She is quoted as stating "I'm a college graduate, and if I read something like Romeo and Juliet, I'm reading about a gang fight, I'm reading about young love, young sex, longing.  I'm reading the same themes that I'm writing in my books.  So if somebody comes along and says, 'Yours is street literature' - what was Shakespeare's?”.  Copies of the discussion book will be available for pickup at the Forest Park Branch Library prior to the discussion.  No sign up is required; however, please contact the branch if you have any questions.  December discussion book: A Moment of Silence: Midnight III.  Adults | Monthly, 2nd Wednesdays 1:30 - 2:30 PM Forest Park Branch Library
