Read to Cadence the Dog

Read to Cadence - Megan Marshall, a volunteer from Bright Spot Reading Buddies, will bring her dog Cadence to the library to have children read to her. She will be at the library the first Saturday of each month from 11:30am-12:20pm.

Kids ages 4-10 will sign up for a 10 minute slot to read to her friendly, furry companion. Bring a favorite picture book or a chapter book to read to Cadence. This program is designed to help kids gain confidence and reduce anxiety about reading.

Local author Haven Williams presents on his new book "The Good, The Bad, and the Blue" which takes a bold look at how slavery, racism, and occupational power intersect to become an underlying cause in today’s conflicts between civilians and law enforcement. Read to Cadence the Dog
11:30 AM - 12:30 PM

Read to Cadence - Megan Marshall, a volunteer from Bright Spot Reading Buddies, will bring her dog Cadence to the library to have children read to her. She will be at the library the first Saturday of each month from 11:30am-12:20pm.

Kids ages 4-10 will sign up for a 10 minute slot to read to her friendly, furry companion. Bring a favorite picture book or a chapter book to read to Cadence. This program is designed to help kids gain confidence and reduce anxiety about reading.
