Eat to Compete! Peak Health and Performance

Eat to compete!  Peak Health and Performance, a nutrition education curriculum for young athletes.  Parents and athletes are invited to attend this program designed by Spartan Performance to provide young athletes with sound nutrition education aimed at improving athletic performance as well as overall health.  

This one-hour presentation covers the basics of nutrition education related to improving sports performance of adolescent athletes.  Topics include hydration, components of a high performance diet, optimal timing of snacks and meals and achieving caloric balance.  

Vickie Pfeifer, MSUE Nutrition and Physical Activity Instructor will be facilitaing this event.
