Celebrate Tecumseh District Library's Pioneer Day at Hidden Lake Gardens' Fall Foliage Festival
10:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Celebrate Pioneer Day with demonstrations of the lost arts, such as butter churning, candle dipping, cross stitch, glass blowing, metalsmithing, quilting, pottery, rag doll making, spinning, weaving and wood carving.  Admission to Hidden Lake Gardens is $5 person ($20 maximum per vehicle).

Jigsaw Puzzle Tournament

Was it Murder? A Documentary's Quest for the Truth

In the mid-1970s, two Filipina nurses were convicted of poisoning patients in the VA Hospital in Ann Arbor.  Both though were released from prison when the federal court judge issued a new trial, citing prosecutorial misconduct.  Join us to view excerpts of That Strange Summer, a documentary on the investigation, trial and movement to free the nurses, followed by a discussion with the film's director Dr. Geri Zeldes.
