"Book in a Bag '' is a teen subscription book program.  Each month teens can sign up for the themed program to choose from selected books, which can be checked out for 1 month, and placed in their choice of a tote or drawstring backpack to keep, with a bag of popcorn and a magnetic bookmark, and a choice of a motivational poster, Zentangle art, a Gaming poster, or a bag of marbled dice. This month’s theme is Eating Disorders & Body Image!  Ages 13+ Registration is required.

We are partnering with One Up Games for another Fortnite tournament! The entire event will consist of FOUR games with short breaks in between each game. Henna, a plant-based dye that safely stains the skin for 1-2 weeks, is a popular art form found in many cultures. Jen will turn your hands into a work of art using an all-natural henna paste. The henna design will last approximately 1-2 weeks.  Ages 10+  Registration is required. Parents have to sign a permission form to allow youth under 18 to attend the program if they are not attending with their parent or you can email permission to Sonya at scampbell@cwmars.org

Calling all adults — join us at 6pm for Paint Night at the library with PopUp Art School! You will create a stunning cherry tree painting using pointillism. This painting technique originated during the Impressionist era and involves using dots of different colors to create an impression of flowers and grass. Start with a brush to outline the tree and background, then add colors and details using dots. This will give your painting a beautiful and unique texture.

The Dancing Fools have been teaching social dance lessons in Boston for over 20 years. They specialize in West Coast Swing because it can be danced just about anywhere and uses today's current music- everything from hip-hop, to popular music, to R&B, to country western and more!  They will teach you in a fun, relaxed atmosphere.  No partner necessary; bring friends or meet new people! Their motto is: Our ability to incorporate good technique, musicality, and the sheer delight of being playful and having fun with each "fool" we dance with is what makes us the Dancing Fools!
