Networkers: Preventing the Top 3 Job Search Mistakes
10:00 AM

Building your career is the product of interactions with yourself, connectors, and hiring decision makers. In each situation, you (and they) are trying to get your needs met, which is the definition of negotiating. This workshop will explore effective negotiation tools to prevent common mistakes in each of these interactions. You will learn to focus on your true interests instead of limiting decisions that narrow your options for success. You will learn how to ally with connectors to gain access to your field of interest. And with decision makers, you will learn how to explore mutual fit and differentiate yourself in interviews.  Presented by Career Coach Tad Mayer, president of Career Negotiations.
