High school students and parents/guardians 

Those of us who remember placing a thick piece of cream-colored paper into the typewriter and cleaning ivory “white-out” from our fingernails as integral to the college application process might be shocked to see how students apply to college today. Unfortunately, the kids are more overwhelmed than we are! In this program, independent college counselor and application coach Dr. P. (Dominique Padurano, Ph.D.) describes each section of the nation’s most widely used college application portal, the Common App, and advises students on how to make the most of them all to maximize their chances of admission. Dr. P. recommends that students attend with parents, and that both bring a notebook and pen to take notes on the presentation.
