Composting 101 for Kids

Watch on YouTube at www.youtube.com/goffstownlibrary.

To compost or not to compost – that is the question! Kids in kindergarten up through grade 5 can explore the benefits of composting by creating their own mini composted soil sample. Container, soil, and instructions will be provided, add your own compost scraps from home and you are off and composting!

Registration is required. Supply bags can be picked up beginning Tuesday, April 20 through Saturday, April 24.

For more information about composting, check out the PDF Composting Food Waste: How to Get Started - a publication from www.lakesrpc.org and www.newmoa.org. Read more at https://www.epa.gov/recycle/composting-home.
