Basic Digital SLR Camera Photography with Nick

Basic Digital DSLR Photography @ the Lawrence Library, Pepperell . 6 sessions: January 8, 15 & 29, February 5 & 19 & March 5, 2019 - 6:30pm-8pm plus 2 offsite photo shoots, dates TBD. In this class, you will learn about your Digital SLR (DSLR) camera and how to shoot images in the manual modes resulting in better photographs. Topics to be discussed: 1) Understanding DSLR features and functions; 2) Understanding Exposure; 3) Understanding Focusing and Depth of Field; and 4) Understanding Composition and the Elements of Visual Design. There will be shooting homework between sessions. Sessions will consist of lectures as well as photo critiques. Prerequisites: Participants should have a Digital SLR camera that provides the ability to adjust ISO, shutter speed, and aperture. Registration is required and limited to 20. By registering here you will be registered for ALL 6 classes.
