Digital Program: Tools for Workplace Collaboration

If you have a Gmail account with Google, you also have access to helpful digital tools like Google Docs, Sheets, Forms, and Drive. These applications can help you work with a team in a workplace or remotely from home, and each of them are free to use. Join us for this three-part series to get an introduction to using these tools to collaborate with other workers for business, nonprofit work, organizing, and more.

Intro to Google Docs -- November 9 at 4PM
Learn how to create and format text on this word processing program. Similar to Microsoft Word, you can use Google Docs to make letters, formal documents with a table of contents, resumes, and more. Work with a team on the same document by sharing editing rights and inserting comments for your team's review. 

Intro to Google Forms -- November 16 at 4PM
Sometimes you may want to survey staff, customers, or organization stakeholders. Use Google Forms to easily collect and analyze survey data that may be helpful for you to begin a new project, adjust your operations, or offer new services. Learn the versatile ways you can use this tool in any workplace.

Intro to Google Slides -- November 23 at 4PM
A presentation can make a lecture or webinar more engaging and memorable to participants. It also allows you to share information in a visual medium that lasts longer than an hour-long talk. Similar to Microsoft PowerPoint, learn how to create slides, use templates, arrange visual images without violating copyright laws, and more. 

Registration is required to attend each of these program. You will receive a Zoom invitation the morning of the program.
