Celebrating Poetry: A Community Reading

Let's celebrate National Poetry Month this year by reading, sharing, and celebrating our favorite poets and poems in this all ages community event. The poems can be classics or contemporaries; strict rhyme schemes or free-flowing verse; contemplative or bombastic; joyful or morose; long (up to two printed pages) or short (just a single couplet!). All the criteria for which poems you decided to read is up to you. What's important is that they speak to you.

Signing up to read is simple: type in your name, the name of the poem you'll read, and the poet who wrote it. If you'd like to say a few words about why the poem speaks to you after reading, please share. Our meeting will last from 6PM to 7:30PM, or as long as it takes for everyone who'd like to share a poem to share. You do not have to read to join in, relax, and enjoy an evening of poetry.

Registration is required to attend this program. You will receive a Zoom invitation the morning of the program.
