Poetry Workshop with Danielle Gasparro

It's a Bird, It's a Plane, It's a Poem! Demystifying the Poetic Form
A lively, eye-opening workshop that proves no superpowers are needed to interpret and enjoy poetry's baffling design and devices.  In this workshop, you’ll be invited to look beyond the “pageantry” of masterful works and discover the unifying human truths that kindle at every poem’s core. Lively guided discussions, impassioned readings, and an interactive examination of poetic craft will empower you with the critical tools and adventurous spirit to enjoy those often intimidating lines of verse. Danielle Gasparro is a Hudson River Valley-based poet and nationally touring singer-songwriter. She holds a BA in Creative Writing with honors from Florida State University and an MFA in Poetry from New England College.  Sample her art and learn more about her adventures in verse & song at: www.daniellegasparro.com  Registration required. Masks may be required based on local health conditions
