Tussie-Mussies and More: The Language of Flowers

Flowers have a language all their own - way beyond the idea that a red rose means passion. The meaning conveyed through color, flower type, and even how it's presented can be dictated by time period, culture, and manner of presentation. Join us on Tuesday, May 22nd at 6:30pm as a Master Gardener volunteer (from the Cornell Cooperative Extension Dutchess County) will teach us all that flowers have to "say" in art, literature, and everyday life!

Registration is required. Please click the Register link below, call us at 845-635-8460, or stop by the library to reserve your seat.
