Our Girls Who Code club is for 3rd-5th grade students who’d like to join a sisterhood of supportive peers and
role models using computer science to change the world! Each session will include a sisterhood building activity, discussions based on chapter guides from the nonfiction book, Girls Who Code by Reshma Saujani, and a Coding Challenge that will put into practice what we have learned.
We will provide the chapter guides, laptops, and any other materials needed – even snacks!
Previous coding experience is NOT required. We’ll all be learning together!
Registration is required and we will be meeting weekly on Tuesday evenings from 6-7 pm.
Please reach out to Rose in Youth Services at 508-821-1412 or rferreira@sailsinc.org. for more information on how to enroll at Girls Who Code HQ before the first session.
This is a drop off program, where caregivers are not required to stay in the room for the session.
