The Butterfly Project

The Holocaust Center of Pittsburgh is pleased to offer a meaningful, intergenerational summer activity to area libraries through a partnership with the Allegheny County Library Association.

Participants in the Butterfly Project will learn about children who died in the Holocaust.  Each participant will receive a card with the story of a specific child.  They will then paint a butterfly, perhaps inspired by the story of that child.  Butterflies will be displayed at our library and at participating libraries around the county.
