Farah Heron has held numerous jobs in the past from selling yarn to selling bikinis, and from hiring in the high-end fashion industry to counselling high-risk youth. Now she adds to successful author to her list since her debut novel, Chai Factor, landed on the CBC list of recommended reads for summer. The Chai Factor, "is a romantic comedy about opposites colliding and how little inconveniences can become life-changing if you open up."
The evening is hosted by writer, editor and book blogger Kerry Clare. Clare is a National Magazine Award-nominated writer and the editor of the essay anthology The M-Word: Conversations about Motherhood. She teaches blogging at the University of Toronto and writes about books and reading at her website PickleMeThis.com.
