A Virtual Meetup - Second Tuesday of the Month at 11:00 AM
In this time of social distancing and self-isolation, it is very easy to feel disconnected from the lives and experiences of those outside our four walls.
Join Brandon for a book club that seeks to close that gap by allowing you to walk in the shoes of someone else.
We'll concentrate on a different biography or memoir each month and peak behind the curtain of another person's choices, mistakes, regrets, and dreams. From gossipy tell-alls to poignant essays of self-reflection, we'll work together to prove Socrates right: the unexamined life isn't worth reading!
This month: D.V. by Diana Vreeland
I promise you this memoir is unlike anything else you've read. Fabulous, witty, rambling, name-droppy, and candy-colored, the book is the next best thing to being in the same room as larger-than-life fashion editor and columnist Diana Vreeland. She's the only person who could give you a kick in the pants and then pick out a better pair for you, and you'd let her.
