Children's Program - Mindfulness Workshops
for children entering Grades 1, 2, and 3 in Fall 2017
The practice of Mindfulness is about beign aware of our emotions, focusing on the present moment and learning how to take a pause within our bodies and minds before reacting. It helps reduce anxiety, encourage the ability to focus and be more aware of ourselves and our emotions.
There will be total of 5 Mindfulness Workshops (Wednesdays, July 12, 19, 26, August 2, and 9th), which will have individual registrations. Full details with times will bein the July/August Newsletter.
Registration for the first Mindfulness Workshop begins Wednesday, June 28, at 9:00 a.m. in the Children's Department.
**Children must bring a beach towel or yoga mat to each class**
