The Detroit Museum Adventure Pass (MAP) program returns for a fifth year.

The new MAP is an online reservation program that allows patrons to print tickets for free or discount admission to cultural attractions.

How Do I Book a Pass?

You must have a valid library barcode and PIN to reserve and print a pass. Use the selection list below (to the right) to select a pass and the date you wish to use the pass. Click CHECK PASS AVAILABILITY, and you will be taken to the pass reservation page for your library. Use the directions below (to the left) to login to the online system and reserve and print your pass.
  • If the pass is available, click the Request Pass button. You will be prompted to enter your library barcode and PIN. Click Submit.

    • If your library barcode and PIN are valid, click Continue. If your library barcode and PIN are not valid, please contact your library.

    • Confirm that your contact information is correct then click Continue. Fields noted with an * are required.

    • Your pass reservation is not yet complete. Review your reservation for accuracy. If it is correct, click Submit this Request. If it is not correct, click Backup and Fix Patron info.

    • Your pass reservation is complete. Please print the confirmation page and bring it with you to the museum. The pass is only valid for the date printed on the pass reservation confirmation page.
  • If there is no Request Pass button, the pass is not available for reservation. To find available passes:

    • Use the pull-down menus to select a different museum pass or a different date of visit, or

    • Click the Museum Pass Adventure logo located at the top of the page to start over.
