PLYMOUTH, MA — July 23, 2002 — Plymouth Rocket Inc. announces the release of EventKeeper™ 3.0 with expanded features to help churches and other organizations make their Web sites more useful with lively, up-to-date calendars of events. EventKeeper 3.0 provides on- line calendars and event listings that can be managed easily by anyone who knows how to use a standard Internet browser. No Web design training or Webmaster technical experience is required.

EventKeeper is increasingly popular with individual churches, denominations, and regional Christian communities that want their Web sites to inform members and the public of current events and announcements, but don't have the in-house expertise to create and maintain a dynamic Web calendar. EventKeeper was developed as a solution to the outdated information found on many Web sites. "How many Web sites do you see that list calendars and events that are two months old or more?" said Ric Bailey, president of Plymouth Rocket. "We wanted to provide an affordable yet full-featured alternative to outdated calendars or full-time Webmasters".

Easy Entry of Event Information

With EventKeeper, the task of maintaining the calendar can be assigned to church staff or members that plan the events. For example, the Music Director or Christian Education coordinator can create or modify calendar entries by logging in to the EventKeeper Web site with an authorized password and then filling in simple online forms. They can quickly and easily add event titles, descriptions, schedules, contact information, Web links or other desired information to their calendars. As events become outdated, they disappear from the EventKeeper calendar automatically.

"EventKeeper made it possible for our church staff to update our site without any hassles or confusing codes to learn", says Rev Andrew Warner, Pastor at Plymouth Church in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Configured for a Church's Needs EventKeeper calendars are customized with colors and graphics to appear as an integral part of the church's own Web site. EventKeeper is fully configurable to allow churches to choose features that suit their needs. Events entered by church members can optionally require approval by a church administrator prior to release on the Web. Editors can designate keywords for listing specific groups of events (e.g. "Sunday Worship", "Board Meetings", "Choir Rehearsals") and can create re-usable popup notes that provide Web visitors with additional information (e.g. "Meeting Agenda", "Directions"). There are a variety of choices in display formats including event listings and standard one-month calendar formats. EventKeeper 3.0 introduces multi-language support for churches with Spanish and other language versions of their Web sites. Private calendar options are also available to incorporate private events (such as "Internal Staff Meetings") on a public calendar.

The basic EventKeeper 3.0 package is just $195 for one year. The subscription fee includes setup, support, and hosting for the EventKeeper data on Plymouth Rocket's servers. For more information, please visit www.eventkeeper.com or the company's Web site at www.eventkeeper.com
