If you have an iPhone, iPad or Mac, you have either embraced - or been mystified by - Apple’s “iCloud,” as well as its relationship to your “Apple ID.” Join us as tech tutor Michael Jay leads an interactive workshop on this powerful feature, which generates the greatest number of his Apple-related questions, yet which also enables some of the most valuable aspects of the Apple system.
Whether you’re new to Apple products, or are already comfortable with your iPhone, iPad, or Mac, this program, dedicated solely to iCloud and Apple ID’s, will help you gain more from your device. We’ll address:
What is “cloud computing”?
What is the relationship between iCloud and an Apple ID?
If your Apple ID is your email address, why isn’t the password for that email account also your Apple ID password?
How can you use iCloud to sync your PHOTOS between your devices?
What else can you use iCloud for?
Let a technology tutor and former Apple Store specialist show you the core features you should know about iCloud and your Apple ID. If you have an iPhone, iPad, and/or Mac laptop, bring your device to this lecture.
Instructor Michael Jay is a technology consultant and educator who has worked with Apple devices and other tech products professionally for over 30 years. He worked previously as an editor and project manager in Hollywood and New York. He has taught related technology at NYU graduate school and Stevens Institute of Technology, and has lectured at over a dozen public institutions. Michael is the owner of TECHsperienced, which provides personal tech tutoring.
