Emergence - an exhibition of Charles Gulbrandsen's luminous abstract field paintings. Gulbrandsen's new series of paintings explore the nature of light and luminosity - eliminating the traditional distinction between light and shadow. He describes his paintings as "a place where space and light are not separate...where luminous vessels define and complete the other within their own shimmering atmosphere."
