Conversations that Matter with Bob Krasnow - a five-week discussion series. Meetings take place on five consecutive Wednesdays from 1 to 2:30 p.m. starting on October 17.
Bob Krasnow has been leading discussion groups for the last 15 years. This program provides a place for people to meet face to face to exchange and share ideas freely. Each week Bob will screen a TED Talk which he has researched. He then opens the conversation to the group to share its views on the subject presented. Examples are: Luck, How we make Decisions, On Being Wrong, Happiness and many others.
Bob graduated from Adelphi College with plans to become a history teacher. He did his graduate studies at NYU. After a short period in teaching Bob went into business and created a firm specializing in toys for cereal boxes for companies like Kelloggs, General Mills, etc. After retirement Bob resumed his love of teaching by creating these discussion groups.
