Filippo Brunelleschi created what had never been done before on such a monumental scale.  He constructed not only a dome that would become the symbol of the city of Florence, he had to also invent the tools in which to make it happen. Toni McKeen will talk about how this came about, and we will also climb the steps of the finished dome to see his work close up and personal.
