.Cranston Public Library is pleased to partner with OneCranston Health Equity Zone and Cranston Public Schools for a Join the Remix Virtual Town Hall in support of the 2021 Reading Across Rhode Island selection, Stamped: Racism, Antiracism, and You by Jason Reynolds and Ibram X. Kendi. We value the voices of the entire community and welcome all who would like to turn reading and reflection into action. Our goal is to start a dialogue about racism in our community and work together towards creating a more inclusive and welcoming place.
The Virtual Town Hall will be moderated by CPL Trustee Larry Warner. Participants will be given the opportunity to exchange ideas and ask questions. While we hope everyone reads Stamped before joining us for this event, doing so is not a requirement for participation but is strongly recommended. Click here to register for one of our book discussion groups.
This event is free and open to the public. Space is limited. Register using the button below or contact the library for assistance. A Zoom link will be emailed at 5 PM on the day of the event.
