Taught by a professional graphic artist and educator, in this class students will learn photo retouching, manipulation and creative techniques with the free web-based Photoshop alternative- Photopea. Photopea runs on a Chromebook, Mac or PC.

Photopea is a surprisingly robust software that is remarkably similar in tools and functions of the industry leading software. This will be a series of project based one hour classes. Each class will be a stand alone class that will teach various techniques. For example, one class will cover how to color correct and edit a damaged photo, another lesson will demonstrate digital collage techniques another will create fantastic creatures from ordinary photos, as well as other creative projects.

Students can take a single class, all of the classes or choose what projects interest them.

What students learn using Photopea will translate directly into other digital imaging software. But what makes Photopea truly special is all you need is a computer and an internet connection to start creating.

For grades 3rd to 6th.

Space is limited,  online registration is required.
