Join us for a delicious dinner followed by a lively discussion of Ava’s Man by Rick Bragg. Pulitzer Prize winning journalist Rick Bragg describes the hardscrabble life of his maternal grandfather, Charlie Bundrum, in this captivating piece of nonfiction. Readers will be transported to the hills and hollers of Depression-era Appalachia as storyteller Bragg weaves his magic.
Our discussion will take place outdoors behind the library under a large canopy or inside in the case of inclement weather.
Registration is required so that we can have an accurate count for the food.
Copies of the book will be available at Harmony Library by early July.
