Love and the act of art making created several dynamic relationships during the 19th and 20th centuries. This class will focus on Degas and Cassatt; Morisot and Manet; Stieglitz and O'Keeffe; and Kahlo and Rivera.  This five part series starts Monday April 19th and ends Monday, May 17th.  Registration is requiredAttendees should register for the first session with the intent of attending all sessions.  Subsequent individual sessions will not have separate registration. 

Taught by Elaine Wertheim.  In addition to being a long time Library supporter and programming partner, she has taught art history through the Mt Lebanon Continuing Education program and taught at Chautauqua Institution for 23 years.

The Librarian coordinating the event will email each registrant a Zoom meeting invitation approximately an hour before the start of the program.  Zoom is available as a free desktop (for Windows, MacOS, and Linux Operating systems) and mobile application for Android and Apple iOS devices. Once Zoom is installed, you will be able to join the virtual Library program.  By registering for this event you have agreed to comply with the library's patron behavior policy. All non-compliant participants will be immediately and permanently blocked from further participation.  Because the Librarian facilitating the event will not be able to provide live technical support during the virtual program, it is strongly encouraged you familiarize yourself with Zoom in advance of the program.
