Featured Craft: Peek-a-Boo Groundhog

For the months of January-March, Ms. Mary Claire will offer a limited number of take & make craft kits for kids ages 3-8.

Due to the popularity of craft kits, there will be a week-by-week email registration process to allow all families a chance to participate.

1. Kits are available through email registration only. To register, email Ms. Mary Claire at mcodonnell@ocln.org with the number of kits you are requesting and the child/children’s name(s).

2. Registration for the next week's craft will open every Monday. For example, you would email Ms. Mary Claire starting Monday, January 4th, to pick up a kit for week of January 11-16th.

3. You will receive an email response confirming your registration.

4.  Due to recent upticks in COVID cases, we recommend considering curbside pick-up service. You can sign up for a curbside time slot any time during the designated week and write "KIDKIT" in after your last name in the last name field of the curbside sign-up form. (If choosing to enter the library building for pick-up, please check our homepage to be mindful of browsing restrictions.)

The take & make kits include most of the supplies needed to complete the projects and instructions, which include an example picture of the completed craft and related book recommendations.

Participants are encouraged to share their finished crafts by sending photos to mcodonnell@ocln.org or sharing on social media and tagging Sharon Public Library.

Take & Make kits are popular! If you email Ms. Mary Claire and there are no more kits available that week she will put you first on the list for the next week's craft. You be notified by email if this happens.

*Please note that Ms. Mary Claire makes every effort to provide awesome kits to as many kids/families as possible. Supplies are limited, so we ask that you limit your request to 1 kit per child.
