This program in cancelled for today as a precaution and to promote social distancing for preventing community spread of the COVID-19 virus the South Brunswick Public Library is halting all group activities and meetings through April 5th.

These episodes will be moved to the first Wednesday in May and the series will continue in order.  We will be ontinuing to show the lecture series "Archaeology: An Introduction to the World's Greatest Sites" series produced by National Geographic and Great Courses.  We will be showing all 24 episodes (two per month) finishing the series in February 2021.  

The work of archaeologists has commanded worldwide attention and captivated the human imagination since the earliest days of the exploration, with groundbreaking discoveries such as the treasures of ancient Egypt, the lost kingdoms of the Maya, and the fabled city of Troy. Archaeology brings us face-to-face with our distant ancestors, with treasures of the past, and with life as it was lived in long-ago civilizations.

 Average episode 30 minutes; showing two episodes each month on the first wednesday at 12:30 unless otherwise noted in this calendar.  The Friends of the South Brunswick Public Library have purchased the 12-month Site License to be able to show the whole course in the coming year.
