.Living without the networked grid of utilities, including water, electricity, waste management and communications media has been a way of life for humans for thousands of years. Using the tiny house lifestyle as a model for sustainable practices, Isa Bauer from Tiny House Northeast will plant seeds of hope for us to help heal the natural environment and live with less where possible. We'll address topics such as minimizing plastics and other packaging, saving money by doing things for ourselves, and sourcing healthy food. The underlying theme is caring for Planet Earth as the limited resource it is, for animals and humans alike.
Isa Bauer earned an M.A. in Regional Economic and Social Development, with a focus in Sustainable Development; and critical media awareness. She has deep and wide experience teaching/training and presenting to youth and adults in various venues. She also design-builds tiny houses/other buildings on wheels; i.e., trailers.
