A Tribute To Remember Revered Suffield Artist

The August Art Show at the Pinney Gallery of Suffield’s Kent Memorial Library will feature the work of
artist and longtime resident Peggy MacKinnon, paying tribute to her memory.

Famous for her watercolor renditions of Suffield scenes, as well as others, her work is prized by both
local, national, and international collectors, and may be found in homes, businesses, and institutions.
Her family discovered a legacy of Peggy’s work, as she left behind both framed and unframed pieces,
numbering in the hundreds. These works will be offered “for sale”, with proceeds going to charity.
The Suffield Arts Council will arrange for the showing, scheduled from August 1st through August 31 st.

A “Night of Remembrance” will be held, on Thursday, August 10 th , from 5:30 – 8:00 PM at the Pinney Gallery at Kent Memorial Library.

The Suffield Observer sponsors this event. They were among several town groups and organizations that
Peggy played an active role with, through her support and generosity .
