Add this Event to Calendar 09/02/2021 09:00 AM 09/02/2021 08:00 PM Book in a Bag

Book in a Bag is like a subscription box, you sign up each month to get a teen book and some goodies, but the catch is that it's free!  Because you're borrowing a library book for a month (but you get to keep the goodies!)  The books for July, August, & September were picked by the Teen Advisory Group.  Book in a Bag pickup is the first Thursday of the month.   Books may be picked up from the Circulation Desk (they'll be in a tote bag, which you also get to keep!).

.  The theme for September is "Campfire Stories."  A vague description of the plot:

"Imagine an America very similar to our own. It’s got homework, best friends, and pistachio ice cream.  There are some differences. This America been shaped dramatically by the magic, monsters, knowledge, and legends of its peoples, those Indigenous and those not. Some of these forces are charmingly everyday, like the ability to make an orb of light appear or travel across the world through rings of fungi. But other forces are less charming and should never see the light of day."

Program for grades 6-12, Registration Required.  Supplies limited.
