The course provides a broad understanding of the data analytics field, technologies, and opportunities. It covers the basics of data analytics including structured and unstructured data, data ingestion/storage and consumption. It also provides information about various types of analytics – descriptive/diagnostic/predictive/prescriptive as well as data visualization and machine learning. View syllabus.
Additional courses available for spring 2021 are SQL, Cybersecurity I, and Python.
Each course is designed and rendered by industry experts and benefits mid-career professionals who want to further their skill sets for better employment opportunities. Emphasis is on the use of tools for applying analytical skills in business settings. Participants should have some experience working with Excel files and be able to operate computers and install software as needed.
You will receive an invitation to the Zoom meetings prior to the first class. Certificates of completion will be awarded at the end of each course.
