The WSCC and the WPL are very excited to bring back the popular cookbook club!  This month we are using the wonderful "Half Baked Harvest" cookbook series for cooking inspiration!

Here’s how it works:    

Copies of the cookbooks chosen for each month will be available to check out at the Woodbury Library – join us - all levels welcome!                                             

We meet at 6:00 pm on the 4th Wednesday of the month at the Woodbury Senior Community Center to share recipes and a meal.

To avoid any duplicates, we ask for you to call Marla Martin at the WPL 203-263-3502 or Loryn Ray at the WSCC 203-263-2828 and let us know the recipe you are planning to share.

Here’s what you’ll need to bring to the club meeting:                                                                 

· serving utensil(s) for your dish

· your own utensils, drinkware & plate

· a cloth napkin

· your premade recipe, ready to serve

We would like to lessen our environmental impact so paper goods will no longer be provided.

Instead, we suggest you make up a “cookbook club” bag and pop a plate, napkin, a glass (maybe a plastic one!) and silverware in it.  We will provide ice water; if you prefer another beverage please bring you own. (The “cookbook club bag” is sounding pretty handy now, isn’t it?)

We will discuss the recipes/cookbooks/chefs over a delicious dinner made by the group. 

At this time, Cookbook Club is limited to a total  of 20 participants so recipe registration is a must.
