Steve Habersang is a designer, art director and illustrator. His whimsical pen and ink drawings are a mix of fantasy and realism with a focus on the natural world, animals, and portraits. Influences include artists such as Salvador Dali, M.C. Escher, Norman Rockwell, Lee Conklin, and Shel Silverstein. As well as, street and skate art, tattoo culture, comic books, album covers, beer labels, music posters, and pop surrealism.   

Since graduating from Syracuse University in 2002, he has worked professionally as a Senior Art Director at Taylor Design in Stamford, CT, where he has earned numerous graphic design awards and has been featured in several international design publications, including Print, How, and Communication Arts magazines. He is a member of the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA), Connecticut Art Directors Club, Nutmeg Collective, Ridgefield Guild of Artists, and Sherman Artists Association.

Besides art and design, Steve spends his free time fishing, hiking, snowboarding, mountain biking, and enjoying the ocean. From time to time he enjoys a good craft beer. A lifetime Nutmegger, he grew up in a small town in northwest Connecticut and continues to work and live in Connecticut with his beautiful wife and muse, Kristine.  View more of Steve’s work at https://habbyart.com/
