New to using a tablet or iPad? Looking to increase your skills or knowledge? Bring your device and participate in this monthly workshop for mobile device users. Each session will have a short presentation on a general topic (or specific app) followed by question and practice time. Learn how to change settings, set up email, and install and remove apps. Learn how to access public Wi-Fi and download e-books. Attend once, or as many sessions as you like.

Duration: 90 minutes.  Registration not required.

A vision board is a visual reminder of what you want for YOU this coming year.  Remind yourself visually everyday through pictures and sayings of what your intentions are for the day, week, year.  Former Cat Country 96 On-Air Personality, Christine DiPeri, will lead us through this fun-filled time of discovering your potential by making your own board.  All supplies will be provided.

2. Borrow one of our laptops: We provide the laptops and server. Limited to 10 people with Library laptops.

Program Length: 90 minutes. Registration limit: 30 total.

Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) is a type of depression that is related to the change in seasons. For individuals with SAD, it is not uncommon to feel sad, irritated or less energetic during the winter months. During this class, we will talk about the causes of the winter blahs and ways to reverse the effects. We will also have activities that are designed to help you relax and brighten your day.

Tracy Heather Strain, director of the Lorraine Hansberry: Sight Eyes, Feeling Heart documentary, which was featured nationwide on PBS, will be speaking on the "A Raisin in the Sun" author's engrossing life as a playwright, journalist, and activist, with emphasis on how she used her words to change society before her tragic death at 34 years of age.  Parts of the documentary will be shown.
