Join The Library in celebrating Joan Y. Leopold Children’s Book Week!

Author and illustrator, Jonathan Bean, will provide presentations at 4 Library locations over the course of 3 days, highlighting his book, Big Snow. Programs will include an author presentation, book signing and activities. Each family in attendance will receive a free book. Additional book titles will be available for purchase.

Preschool Storytimes will feature Big Snow all week long! Crafts and book-related activities can be enjoyed any time you stop by The Library during Children’s Book Week.

In Big Snow, David “helps” his mother get the house ready for their guests, but everything reminds him of the big snow on its way -- the flour in the cookies, the suds in the bath tub, the fluffy, cool white sheets on his bed! But after a long day, the clouds are slow to deliver a big snow… until a naptime adventure delivers the snow of David’s dreams.
