Each session will have a short presentation on a general topic (or specific app) followed by question and practice time. Learn how to change settings, set up email, and install and remove apps. Learn how to access public Wi-Fi and download e-books.

Explore, create and experiment in this maker space program. We provide both low tech, and some high tech options, but you chose what you want to do. Maybe you want to paint, make a craft, or try Hexbugs, Ozobots, or make a stop motion movie. This is not a set program. It is all about what YOU want to explore, create, and experiment with.

1 hour. Ages: 9-14 years.  No registration required.

This casual book club will meet at local establishments to dive into new genres and forms while getting to know other readers in a social setting.  The local establishment for September, October, and November is The Sturges Speakeasy.

September's book selection is Beartown by Fredrik Backman.

Join registered therapy dogs for fun sessions of reading. Paws 2 Read encourages children of all reading levels to read to the easiest and most willing audience—a dog. Each attendee has the opportunity to read to a dog for about 15 minutes.

Ages: 6 to 11.  Registration is by appointment starting Tuesday, September 3rd at 10:00 AM.
