Let’s Get Personal: Personal Care Item Drive

When you drop off needed items at the Library, we’ll deliver them to the Goffstown Network Food Pantry.

The list: soap, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste/mouthwash/dental floss, toothbrushes, razors for women and men, shaving cream, moisturizers, feminine hygiene products, diapers, and baby wipes.

The need for families in our community is great and we're hoping to make a difference during this season of thanks and celebration.

The Goffstown Public Library is proud to be a local drop off site for the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation. The Foundation is in need of new and unwrapped toys and gifts for all ages, but especially TEENS. The toys will then be distributed in our own area for those children and teens in need. If you would like more information about the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation take a look at www.toysfortots.org.

A large box is available in the Library foyer for you to bring your donations of new, unwrapped toys - please add a child or teen to your shopping list this year.

Tree of Stars

The Gold Star / Blue Star community tree is installed at the Lions Club Popcorn Stand this holiday season. Honor those who serve by adding the name of a loved one to an appropriately colored star, available at the Library.

The stars and their respective colors represent the following:

  • Gold/Yellow Star - Killed in Action
  • Blue Star -  Served/Serving
  • Red Star - Injured in Action
  • Black Star - POW/MIA

Gather your team to compete in our 6th annual Gingerbread House Decorating contest! A gift certificate worth $30.00 goes to the winner!
Registration required; only 10 houses available.

We’ll provide all the materials - no outside materials permitted.

Winners will be declared on Wednesday, December 20th. Participants should pick up houses after winners are announced, displays left at the Library will be disposed of on Saturday, December 23rd at noon.
