An informal knitting group will meet at the library which offers an opportunity for people to get together, bring a project to work on (either for 20 minutes or the whole group meeting) and have friends nearby to ask questions when they need help. The first 30 minutes are devoted to help with your project - the last hour is devoted to social knitting. Knitters and all other fiber artists are invited to attend!
Please call the Reference desk at (617) 898-4964 for questions and if you would like to be added to the coordinator's list for updates, Email jhlady@milton.ocln.org and she will connect you with the group. This program is kindly sponsored by the Friends of the Milton Public Library and is free and open to all.

The Poop Museum is the place to come if you’re curious and have questions about poop, and also, if like Susie Maguire, you LOVE poop! Susie works at The Poop Museum and is a poop expert who thinks poop is THE most interesting subject in the world. She has studied poop for years and loves nothing more than sharing her expansive knowledge of poop with the children of the world.
At The Poop Museum, children learn many fantastic, fabulous and fun facts about human, animal and insect poop, many of which truly amaze and surprise. Just a few of the poopers the children will meet, include:
- the world’s messiest pooper
- the animal that has poop attack power
- the animal that can poop every color of the rainbow
- and many, many more
At The Poop Museum, children learn A LOT, but they also laugh a lot ... because ... well ... our subject is poop and Susie has found a wonderful way to blend solid science, with the silliness that kids love.
Registration is required and will open two weeks before the program date. This program is for kids ages 4-9 and will take place in the Story Hour Room. Thank you to the Friends of the Milton Public Library for sponsoring this event.
