There are so many fun games to play that involve cards, so we decided to start a gaming group that is all about just that.  We will bring a selection of games but will always have several regular decks of cards for anyone who wants to play other things.  It's your chance to learn some new games or play some you haven't in awhile!

The Teen Volunteer Association (TVA) is open to students in Grades 6-12.  Appointments to the group are made depending on interest in the group and according to the essay portion on the Teen Volunteer Application.

TVA is, essentially, a student council for the library & help with determining the direction of teen events as well as finding ways for the library to contribute to the community at large.  There are rules for joining and requirements to stay a member; but it IS a volunteer opportunity and it IS rewarding if you are willing to put in the time and energy.

Membership in the TVA is not required in order to be a volunteer at the library.  If you wish to be a member indicate your interest and fill out the essay portion on the Teen Volunteer Application.  Saleena will contact all prospective members.

TVA is courtesy of the Friends of the Library.
