    Contact: Jamie Gaynes   6172752913   jgaynes@hcfama.org

Join Health Care For All and the Healthy Food, Healthy Homes, Health Children Coalition for a community meeting on children’s health and wellbeing. Children are the future of our Commonwealth and the key to our prosperity as a community. Children's well-being and their ability to be successful depends on a number of related factors, including stable housing, access to health care, and adequate and nutritious food. The event will feature expert speakers discussing the challenges our youth are facing both locally and statewide, and highlight strategies to positively impact the future of our communities. When it comes to the lives of young people, no factor can be resolved in isolation from others – issues such as housing, homelessness, hunger and health care are inexorably linked.

Currently there is a lot of momentum in Massachusetts to develop more Peer Mentor positions for Young Adults, and it is extremely important that YOU are the ones to define the Peer Mentor role. During the meeting we will discuss:

What is Working; What Needs Work; and What is Next for the Young Adult Peer Mentor Role!
