(Virtual Art Talk) The Surreal World of Rene Magritte

Thursday August 26, 2021
7:00 PM until 8:00 PM

Join us for a virtual art talk! Rene Magritte’s work has delighted and fascinated audiences long before Paul Simon’s famous song. This program will focus on the life and influences of the Belgian Surrealist painter whose paintings are both familiar and confounding. Discover the ways his work relates to contemporaries like Salvadore Dali and learn how art historians interpret his mysterious paintings.
