Stroke: How to Spot it and How to Stop it

Monday May 13, 2019
7:00 PM until 8:00 PM

May is National Stroke Awareness Month, an observance that highlights the importance of knowing the signs and symptoms of stroke and encourages persons to act FAST (Face drooping, Arm weakness, Speech difficulty, Time to call 9–1–1) if someone is having a stroke.

It is estimated that 80% of strokes are preventable. This program explains the common stroke risk factors and how to manage them, how to recognize the signs and symptoms of someone having a stroke, and the medical treatment options available for those that experience stroke.
