VIRTUAL: Pinched Paintings - Art Heists in Art History

Monday October 19, 2020
6:00 PM until 7:00 PM

Zoom Webinar

In this lecture, Jeff Mishur discusses a selection of history’s most notorious art heists, some that have been solved and others that still remain open. Jeff's wife and business partner, Dr. Michelle Mishur, was first exposed to this subject as a result of living and researching in Venice, Italy. The church adjacent to where she lived had a painting stolen that was never recovered. Jeff Mishur’s discussion features art crimes that involved The Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston, the Mona Lisa in the Louvre, and more. You will receive the Zoom link by email 3 days before and the day of the event. If you don't receive the link, please check your spam/junk folder.

Jeff Mishur and Dr. Michelle Mishur are co-owners of Art Excursions, a company that provides private guiding in Chicago, lectures, and boutique art and culture tours in the United States.
