EventKeeper : Tell a Friend
Ikebana Flower Arrangement Workshop

Saturday May 9, 2020
10:30 AM until 12:00 PM

Do you have flowers blooming in your garden already? Or dried flowers that you've been saving but don't know what to do with? Maybe you are looking for a fresh way to arrange the bouquets you get once in a while from the store? Bring whatever materials you have at hand to this rare workshop offered exclusively during ArtWeek by multi-talented international artist Nefertiti San Miguel from Etnia Fusion.

Learn about the Japanese concept of Mottainai ("waste not") and learn to work with whatever floral materials you have at hand, fresh or dry. Nefertiti will show you how to use different tools and mechanics to gracefully design alluring floral arrangements of all sizes. Right on time for your Mother's Day festivities!

Note:
* Materials are NOT provided in the workshop. Please bring fresh flowers, dry materials, tools and containers that you wish to use to the workshop.
* Suitable for all genders.
* No prior experience required. Free parking available.
