10:00 AM until 3:00 PM
Cultivate Care Farms is a small non-profit organization specializing in outpatient farm-based mental health treatment for children and adolescents, and community wellness programming for people of all ages. The mission at Cultivate Care Farms is to empower clients and the community in realizing their mental health goals through Farm-Based Therapy, wellness programming, and community outreach. At CCF, Licensed Mental Health Counselors and Licensed Independent Clinical Social Workers see over 100 clients per week and care for the needs of over 60 animals, including: cows, alpacas, sheep, goats, chickens, rabbits, a tortoise, and a parrot.
On Saturday, September 25th, from 10am to 3pm, come meet: goats Marge, Ruth, Harriet, Mariah, & Baby, Clover the bunny, Bart & Bernie the silkie chickens, and Herman the tortoise! "Animal Snuggles" gives people of all ages the opportunity to interact and connect with farm animals. Come hold, feed, snuggle and groom animals you may not have had the opportunity to spend time with before. Learn something new and leave feeling more grounded, mindful, or positive.
Drop in at any time throughout the day. All ages are welcome!
