Virtual Author Talk: The Great Kosher Meat War of 1902

Monday April 26, 2021
7:00 PM until 8:00 PM

The Great Kosher Meat War of 1902 tells the twin stories of mostly uneducated female immigrants who discovered their collective consumer power and of the Beef Trust, the midwestern cartel that conspired to keep meat prices high despite efforts by the U.S. government to curtail its nefarious practices. Join us for a talk with author Scott D. Seligman on Zoom -- please note that registration is required, as for online security reasons only registered attendees will be able to attend this event. Registered attendees will receive a Zoom link via email before the event.
