EventKeeper : Tell a Friend
Creative Writing Workshop

Wednesday October 27, 2021
6:00 PM until 7:30 PM

Find your story and begin – A Creative Writing Non-fiction Workshop Many of us have a story inside of us that needs to find a way to the outside. Whether you want to write personal essay, family history, or begin a memoir, this workshop will inspire you to start. Based on the concept of generative writing, over 5 weeks, Ellen will guide you to get the heart of your story and dig deep enough to find your voice and a story that resonates with the universal human experience. Life since 2020 has been unsettling and lead us to introspection. Putting our stories into words can be cathartic and, when well told, a gift to others. Please bring your creativity and stories to a workshop that could set you on a course to more rewarding writing. Ellen O’Donnell is an MFA candidate at Western Connecticut State University and teaches an undergraduate writing class, The Creative Process and Writing. Series of 5 Wednesdays: October 6,13,20,27 & November 3. You must be able to attend all sessions.

Location: Genealogy Room
