Cranston Public Library and OneCranston Health Equity Zone are hosting three Join the Remix book discussion virtual meetings moderated by CPL Trustee Larry Warner. We are discussing this year's Reading Across Rhode Island title, Stamped: Racism, Antiracism, and You by Jason Reynolds and Ibram X. Kendi. Our goal is to facilitate intergenerational discussion about the themes in the book and get us all thinking about ways to bring positive social change to our community.
Book discussion meetings are open to adults and students (grade 6 and above). Please join us to make your voices heard!
Free and open to the public. Space is limited. Please click here to register for the May 1 meeting. Participants will receive a free copy of the book to keep and an antiracism and ally toolkit with additional resources, an antiracism button, and a commemorative bookmark.
Please visit cranstonlibrary.org/remix for complete information about all of our Join the Remix programming.
